This unique collection of songs is a timeless tribute to the state of Tennessee. It's only fitting that a state with such a rich musical heritage be the inspiration for eight original songs as well as classics like "Tennessee Waltz" and "Wildwood Flower". Don has been a part of the Nashville Music Scene since 1974. His songs have been recorded by Reba McEntire, Janie Fricke, Sawyer Brown, The Oak Ridge Boys, and many more. As a recording artist he scored seven top 20 singles from his four indie and two Epic albums, and toured heavily in the US, Europe and Australia. Don co-wrote most of the original music and produced this album. The tunes range from the bluegrass influenced, "The Devil's Kitchen", to the story song, "The Night Of The Dance", which is set in Civil War times. The CD artwork, original watercolor paintings by Tennessee artist, Harold Lovell, completes the package perfectly. This is a 'must have' for any true country music fan. |
