Cindy’s song stylings are pure country soul, her vocals filled with emotion and attitude. As a singer/songwriter, Cindy Foss moves easily from sad to sassy to right up-town and in-your-face. Her energetic rendition of the country classic, “Talk Back Trembling Lips,” sets the tone for her first album. One listen assures you that her heart is rooted deeply in country. The performance of Don King and John Swayne’s, “A Bit Of Bad Boy,” showcases her talent for timing and style which rivals that of her musical influences: Brenda Lee, Lynn Anderson and Loretta Lynn. Her co-written title track, “Next Time,” reads like a page torn from her own diary.

The cuts on Cindy’s first CD are solid country, but with enough edge to make them absolutely contemporary. Cindy proves she can deliver a poignant ballad with no sense of weakness or defeat. To understand her flair for power delivery, one need look no further than her musical influences.

Cindy Foss is a stage veteran. At the tender age of eleven she began opening concerts in her home town for artists like her idol, Tammy Wynette. By the time she began working with writer/producer Don King, she had logged over a decade of club dates. Driven by her passion to succeed in music, Cindy earned a music business degree from Belmont University in 1998. The added seasoning of studio vocal work, her own music video and six appearances on The Nashville Network have prepared her well for her first album:
